Jackie & Chas had an intimate wedding celebration in Etowah, NC.
Jackie first reached out to me on Facebook way back in 2019. We stayed in contact through all the craziness that was 2020 and they ended up choosing a date in 2021 to officially tie the knot.
Both Jackie and Chas are from New Jersey but these NC mountains hold a special place in both of their hearts. Chas proposed to Jackie over on Black Balsam Knob.
On their wedding day I met up with them at the Etowah Valley Golf Resort for some getting ready photos. Rather than a first look they opted for a first touch so they could have a moment to help reduce any nerves and share some time in private.
We headed over to Jump Off Rock for their ceremony and the views that day 😍 Jump Off Rock is one of the view public land locations where you can have an arbor and chairs set up so it makes for a perfect spot when you have a decent sized wedding party. Jackie made this beautiful dream catcher that hung from the arbor.
Chas was walked down the aisle by her mother and step father and then met her father at the very end of the aisle so that he could walk her down the last little bit. The ceremony was emotional and included a rock blessing ceremony. Each guest had a rock they held onto that they blessed with their happy wishes for the newlyweds and then were collected.
After the ceremony hiked around for some portraits at Jump Off Rock before heading back to the Etowah Valley Country Club for the reception.
The reception was full of dancing, great food, laughter and friends all having a good time. Jackie and Chas had a great cake smash and finished their photos for the night with a sparkler send off.
Forever in love with these two awesome people and hope they continue to share their adventures.
